From the plant floor to every obligation that depends on it
Plants measure fuel, power, water and waste every day. ESGTrack captures those readings where they are taken, turns them into an approved inventory, and works out what your carbon-market targets, EU customers and waste rules need from it.

Plant data, captured the way it is measured
Each kind of plant data has its own form: fuel logs reconciled against stock checks, with lab calorific values where you have them; electricity from meters or bills; water as a balance of withdrawal, consumption and discharge; waste by BRSR category with how it was recovered or disposed of; refrigerants for Scope 1. A grid of sites and months shows what is missing.
- The offline field app for meter readers and stores, from a link or a printed QR card
- Station-specific CEA factors for power supplied directly by a station
- IPCC default factors for industrial processes in the bundled library
- Safety registers: injuries, LTIFR and fatalities for BRSR Principle 3

CCTS emission intensity targets
India's Greenhouse Gases Emission Intensity Target Rules set targets for obligated entities in aluminium, cement, chlor-alkali and pulp and paper (October 2025), and — by an amendment of January 2026 — secondary aluminium, petroleum refineries, petrochemicals and textiles. FY 2025-26 is the first compliance year. ESGTrack compares each obligated unit's intensity with its target and works out the certificates involved.
- Intensity against target, unit by unit, from approved emissions and production
- Certificates to earn or surrender, and the compensation exposure
- The report to BEE and a certificate ledger
Sources: MoEFCC G.S.R. 739(E), 8 October 2025, and G.S.R. 25(E), 13 January 2026. Iron and steel targets were still in draft in October 2026.

CBAM data for your EU customers
Since 1 January 2026, EU importers of cement, iron and steel, aluminium, fertilisers and hydrogen declare the embedded emissions of what they import, and from February 2027 they buy certificates for them. Actual emissions from you can cost them less than the default values — so they will ask. ESGTrack calculates embedded emissions per good from your inventory, precursors included.
- Actual embedded emissions against the default values, good by good
- Certificate costs to 2034 for each customer
- A file for each EU importer and a pack for the verifier
Also for manufacturers
- EPR obligations for plastic packaging, e-waste, batteries, tyres and used oil, met with recyclers' certificates
- Product carbon footprints to ISO 14067, with a PACT Pathfinder file for customers
- SASB metrics for construction materials, iron and steel, and chemicals in the crosswalk
- Decarbonisation planning with a cost curve built from your own emission sources
Questions from manufacturers
Our plants have patchy connectivity. Can they still enter data?
Yes. The field app opens from a link or a printed QR card, works in English or Hindi, and keeps readings on the phone until there is a signal. A meter photo becomes evidence, and the month's figure still goes through approval.
We are an obligated entity under CCTS. What does ESGTrack calculate?
Your GHG emission intensity against the notified target for each obligated unit, the carbon credit certificates you would earn or need to surrender, the compensation exposure if you fall short, and the report to BEE — from the same approved emissions as your BRSR.
Our EU customers ask for CBAM data. Can ESGTrack produce it?
Yes. ESGTrack works out embedded emissions per good from your own inventory, precursors included, compares them with the default values, estimates certificate costs to 2034, and produces a file for each EU importer and a pack for the verifier.
